MISSION

Gravity Pleasure emerged from the desire to platform marginalized artists working across ambient, experimental, leftfield, and no-genre music and sound. Rooted in care, collaboration, and solidarity — with each other and with the planet — we are a music label, platform, and event series dedicated to supporting FLINTA* artists shaping expansive sonic worlds.

Grounded in an intersectional ecofeminist ethos, Gravity Pleasure exists to uplift marginalized voices and cultivate practices of deep listening, kinship, and relationality with the more-than-human world. Through a hydrofeminist methodology, we approach sound as fluid and connective, a medium through which new forms of collective care can emerge.

As queer, ecologically attuned artists navigating a time of climate crisis and systemic disconnection, we understand platforming FLINTA voices, fundraising for mutual aid, curating inclusive listening spaces, and supporting planetary well-being as inseparable acts. Each is a gesture toward interdependence and transformation.

We are honored to share our first compilation album, Water Bodies, as a collective offering that brings this ethos into resonance.



GP01: Water Bodies V/A

“Gravity Pleasure's inaugural release, Water Bodies, is a rippling compilation of FLINTA (female, lesbian, intersex, nonbinary, trans, agender) artists through ambient, experimental, and leftfield sound. Across 21 tracks, Water Bodies spans a post-genre miasma of ethereal mermaid music, cathartic flows, and glistening sibilants ~ each one an exquisite message-in-a-bottle of deep diving emotionality. Pulling from a wide-range of musical perspectives ~ field recording, lovesick ballads, shimmering downtempo, post-party comedown, and percolating ambient ~ the compilation contains multitudes yet maintains deep sentimental coherence. Like a wave crashing in slow motion, it sonifies possible ways of being, insisting on the porous, the interdependent, and the deep and unruly. Water Bodies reminds us that home is a body made of water, to which we all belong." -Boomkat

EVENTS

Gravity Pleasure has collaborated with Kwia, unit3, and Index Records to put on events in Berlin, Manchester, and Glasgow. The events are ‘Earth-bonding nights’ - richly dimensional experiences that strengthen ties between our local community and environment by integrating performances with workshops, discussions, and collaborative speculation. Gravity Pleasure’s signature aesthetic touch: the performances live score satellite imagery of Earth’s surface. By distorting our perception of scale, speed, and mass, we remind ourselves that we are human bodies belonging to a planetary body, and each of us is part of a pluriversal whole. Gravity Pleasure is excited to co0organize Liquiforms Festival in 2026 alongside forms of minutiae with the support of Musicboard Berlin.
